Be sure to visit the Father Marquette memorial marker, commemorating Marquette's visit to these shores in 1674. The park features:Pioneer ParkLocated right on Lake Michigan at the intersection of Lake and Kilbourn Streets, Pioneer Park has a truly wondrous view and a wide sandy beach.
