SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 2, 2009

Absent: Sperber (excused)

Others: Administrator Kranz, Public Works Director Balleine, Librarian Sue Grosshuesch

Mayor Blaha called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Volllenweider moved and Kunkel seconded to open the 2010 Budget Hearing. Motion carried unanimously.

Administrator Kranz provided a summarization of the 2010 Budget and changes or corrections made as a result of the budget review meeting.

With no one else present to speak either for or against the proposed 2010 Budget, Vollenweider moved and Kostka seconded to close the public hearing at 6:28 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.

Kostka moved and Vollenweider seconded to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 988-09, RESOLUTION ADOPTING CITY OF KEWAUNEE BUDGET AND TAX LEVY FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2010. Upon a roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

Under other business, the Council discussed the funding situation with the Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrades and effects it may have on customer sewer rates.

D. Kickbusch moved and Jeske seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
