Additional Refuse Collections

Big Item Collection

  • Request retailer to take old appliance when purchasing a new one - OR
  • Place at curb for pick up on SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month - 2 garbage stickers per stop up to 3 cubic yards
  • Charge of: $45.00 for refrigerator/freezer, $20.00 for dorm size refrigerator, dehumidifier, or air conditioner, $15.00 for TV's, $10.00 for computers and $0.40 for Fluorescent Lights (other than CFL). To obtain sticker make payment at City Hall, 401 Fifth Street. CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lights) can be recycled for no charge at the following businesses in Kewaunee County Area: Kewaunee City Hall - 401 Fifth Street, Walter's How-to-Store - E4351 County K, Algoma and Menards - 2560 Steffens Court, Green Bay
  • Call Chuck Balleine, Director of Public Works at 388-5002 if you have any questions

Grass Collection & Leaves

  • Place in open bags.
  • Curbside pick up on Spring Clean Up Days Only
  • April & May dates will be published.
  • Tree leaves may be raked to street gutters only after October 15th.

Brush Collection

  • Place butt end to curb.
  • Pick up FOURTH WEDNESDAY of the month

Motor Oil

  • Place in oil container at Street Shop, 207 First St.
  • Do not mix solvents or any other material with oil.

 

Residents are reminded that material placed for curbside collection shall not be placed prior to 48 hours of the scheduled pick up.
