Most of the house have been carefully maintained over the years and both they and the neighborhood as a whole are unusually well-preserved.The homes within the District represent a variety of architectural styles popular during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. You will find Italianate, Second Empire, Queen Anne, Craftsman, Prairie, American Foursquare and various Period Revival styles of architecture, among others, all within a few blocks of each other.A self-guided walking/driving tour provides a relaxing way to view this lovely neighborhood.
